Meadowlake Pond

Meadow Lake Park pond is located at 9501 N. Panther Creek Drive, 77381 and was established in 1990. The pond is a boomerang shaped pond that you have full access all around the pond with the West side being a bit narrow at points and runs along resident backyards. If you enjoy using a fly rod, you will find very generous room for casting on the Southwest side of the pond. The field near the pond is commonly used to hold practice for various youth sports teams. The pond is shallow at the banks/waters edge but gets deeper the further from the bank. In the Southwest cove of the pond there are trees and bushes at the waters edge providing cover for fish. You will also find submerged branches in this cove which provide good cover for fish but is also easy to get snagged when using exposed hooks or non weedless lures; so use cation.
